i thought FFX was shit, although its the only one i made it through. 7 was nice as far as i got, so was 9, didnt play 8, 12, or 13 ( do plan to someday though ).

people forget this way too often, i didnt thoroughly enjoy my 360 til oblivion dropped months later, then it was ages before i got another truly great experience.
i wouldnt say its a 2-3 year wait but you def only get 1 gem every 6 months-ish for the first couple years, which sucks when compared to the end of a console cycle like now when you get gems every 2 months, or like this year when there were 15 in 3 months
i dont think anyone thinks that the wii u is not considered next gen ( not based on graphics or power but the fact that it is nintendos next console ), i think the issue here and why the wii u is not addressed as being the start of the next gen is becuase most "core" gamers, alot of this site included, dont even consider the wii anything but a 5 year olds toy ( it does have some nice games though, yet i still never want to play it for some reason ).

I disagree with all of you. Console sales do matter however how their sales figures stack up against one another is irrelevant. As long as each console, Nintendo's included ( im intrigued by the Wii u controller ), sells enough to stay in the game im happy. really? have you played ninja gaiden 2 on mentor or master ninja? i bet you 100 dollars that ninja gaiden 2 on either one of those is 10x harder than killzone 2.....by far the hardest game this generation.....

id also agree with you there, ms has tried a few times with crackdown, alan wake, too human, and banjo but they were all half *ssed efforts ( too human is actually one of my fav games and with more dev time and real level designers could easily have been a triple a title ). they should focus on getting more exclusives and trying to expand into other genres/markets other than fps and casual, they have really given up on that expansion in the last couple years.....
im pretty sure COD eats up the charts on both consoles, just becuase it sells twice as many on 360 doesnt mean its still not the most popular ps3 game as well.......shooters are the most popular genre on either console.....and im pretty sure the only reason people may think differently about the ps3 is becuase it has more exclusive non fps games ( heavy rain, GOW, infamous, LBP, Ratchet, etc ) which means more opportunities to sell games that arent shooters. most of 360's quality exclusiv...
you guys need to read the article, there not getting rid of them at all. there prioritizing them. there putting new and used in the same row with the used copies on the top of the stack and the new copies buried behind them. then there making all the stickers white and just writing new or used on them. if anything it will generate more used sales if the consumers arent paying attention.
lmao, i actually wouldnt doubt this. alot of people dont pay attention to the "new" or "used" condition to begin with and its those people who will all be f*cked when they cant play online....i for one dont like how gamestop pushes used sales on me and the employess act like a holes if you ask for a sealed new copy, ill shop there even less now....
yes and no, whos to say this review is more accurate than ign's review? its all an opinion afterall.......im with you on not putting faith in reviews though, i buy what i want to play and i will purchase this game becuase i have every year for 6 years and with the exception to last years they have all been very fun.
i dont think star wars galaxy 2 will have much impact, the first one barely made a dent in the mmo market......dont know why it got an unofficial sequel......
